A Family Story
Beauty San Spa is a family business driven by the desire to offer and create quality products through professionalism, competence and love for their work. Beauty San was founded in 1995 as an Italian branch of the multinational Sanofi Beautè.
Love was the sentiment that in 2000 led the president Gualtiero Valdo to transform Beauty San into an independent company. In a few years, the spin-off of Sanofi Beautè became a reference center for international brands for their distribution in the Italian market.
2007 was a turning point year that marked a strategic change: it began the collaboration with the designer Ennio Capasa for the development of the Costume National Scents fragrances. Thus was initiated the V-Monkeys Beauty San creative laboratory led by Gualtiero Valdo’s children Andrea and Chiara which decodes intuitions, memories, anecdotes, and images by processing them in a design perspective. In 2011 the Costume National Homme fragrance won the Accademia del Profumo award for the Best Made in Italy product.
In 2013, for the XXIV edition of the International Perfumery Award, the Costume National So Nude fragrance was nominated as a finalist for the best women’s perfume of the year award. In 2016 V-Monkeys took on the creative direction of the Costume National Scents brand and gave life to two new brands: TUTTOTONDO and JUSBOX, a manifesto of Made in Italy quality, research and development. Today Andrea and Chiara are the CEOs of Beauty San; even though they have different training experiences, they share the same destiny: to create Beauty.
Today, the Beauty San brand portfolio presents a commercial offer for Italy that ranges from traditional English toiletries to artistic perfumery, as well as products dedicated to the professional SPA world.
Our Essence
Beauty San has two different business units that cooperate to provide the best products and services to our customers and consumers:
The distribution section deals with importing products from all over the world to place them on the market according to the strategy most consistent with the brand identity, and take care of them in terms of marketing, promotion and communication.
The production section is a creative laboratory which gives life to concepts and products while enhancing the Italian heritage and respecting new environmental needs. Beauty San produces perfumery products for licensed brands and also its own brands.
